Dawn Baird set out to prove that it could be done. During the single day in October, under the watchful eye of the visting fellow astronomers, she ground and polished her tiny mirror into a shining symbol of her joy of ATMing. And so, Mortimer came into the world and at a March star party, the people knelt before the telescope and proclaimed it's value and it was GOOD.
