StarForge Outreach: November 8, 2006


On November 8, 2006 members of StarForge joined with about 150 students and faculty of the Arlington Heights Elementary School in Citrus Heights to observe the Mercury transit of the Sun. StarForge members brought telescopes specially equpped with solar filters providing the crowd exiting and safe views of the Sun and Mercury during the transit.
